6 - Hanoi Rocks, Finnish Independence Day


These Finnish nutheads, prior and inspirational gurus to bands like Mötley Crüe, Guns'n'Roses and many, many more, have also – naturally – done a version of "Run Rudolp Run. This is fun, and live:


Hanoi Rocks' influence can be seen in various bands, including Guns N' Roses, and their glam look has been used by many bands, including Poison, L.A. Guns and Ratt. Other bands like Manic Street Preachers, Murderdolls and the Foo Fighters have admitted being Hanoi Rocks fans. Alice in Chains also often played Hanoi Rocks' "Taxi Driver" live in their early days.


Million Miles Away have absolutely nothing to do with Christmas but is still one of the best ballads ever made:
